I was there a week ago and yes it was open.
Unfortunately no :( sorry!
At 5pm !
No I don't believe they do, but they have a lot of other good food!
I very very very much doudt so!
According to their Instagram, they are closed forever. Their sister restaurant, Ganadara Bar on Ste Catherine, may be open though the menu isn't exactly the same.
I asked a waiter there if i could make a reservation, he said that the restaurant did not provide such policy, and we had to wait for one.
No
Drove to Ganadara Thursday afternoon because their Google listing said they are open for takeout (No dine-in obviously because of the Covid-19) and that they close at 10PM. Tried to call before going there but the voicemail was full. Once I got there it was closed and there was a paper in the front door window roughly saying that the restaurant will be closed from March 16th. Ganadara please update your hours/listing.*UPDATE*: I was informed that they are indeed open for preorder/walking takeout but only Friday to Sunday from 1PM to 7PM for the time being. Nevertheless, please update this information on Google also.
Amazing hidden gem within the city. There is no outdoor sign that indicates that the restaurant is there but they don’t need it. Locals know and frequent the spot regularly! The bibimbap is truly amazing! A must-try
Very satisfied with the service I received there! Went with my three friends, highly enjoyed the food, really liked the cozy atmosphere and also liked the staff! Will come back and recommend it to other friends.
This place always has a line up no matter what time of day you go. The restaurant is small inside but the tables turn over pretty quickly. We only had to wait about 20 minutes with about 15 people in front of us. I highly recommend the carbonara rice cakes and the poutine. So delicious.
Great Korean fare! My suggestion is to call and place your order then go pick it up and bring it home. It's always full to the brim with a line outside because it's so small. Love the bibimbap and dak balls. It's fairly priced too!
Amazing place! There food is great and the people there are really nice!
There was an almost 30 minutes waiting line, but totally worth it. Shrimp Bibimbap was excellent. They were quick to serve, very attentive and friendly. And the price is very good for the good quality. I have seen many famous places become arrogant and rude. But manners is not sacrificed by popularity here. The staff were VERY polite and had a positive attitude. Thanks to David, we had a wonderful dinner tonight.
Love this place. The food is so genuine, priced really reasonably, and just plain delicious. Service is always friendly and quite fast. Be prepared for a line-up (average wait time about 20 mins), as this place is really popular.
One of my favourite place in town. The wait before getting in is so worth it. Love the food, especially the Dak Ball, it's my absolute favourite thing.
Amazing food. Really a must go for first timers or veterans. The portion/price is great. Quality is #1. The rice cakes are crispy and well sauced. The dak balls are light and fluffy. Big enough for 2 to share. The marinated beef soup was very well seasoned & well priced!! (9$)
Great food, good service! Just make sure you get there early. We were there around 4:40PM and waited just about 15mins before they opened and started letting people in. The people that got there around 5 waited a bit longer. Definitely worth the wait! Big portions for a very good price
Good. A fine example of a specific kind of restaurant. It can be delicious food with excellent staff service. The vibe is pleasant. You may think about coming again if you wish to taste a particular kind of cuisine.
I love this place! Does anyone know if they’re closed for good? Keep checking to see if they’ll open again .

An exceptionally good Korean restaurant, at excellent prices, & very tasty food. The only reason they don't have a 5 star rating from me is somewhat limited starters, that I personally absolutely love with Korean food. Overall, highly recommended.
Food is amazing and seems like traditional Korean dishes. Pricing is reasonable and portions are enough to satisfy. The restaurant is quite a small area, I wouldn't suggest going in large crowds. It is usually busy so there is a chance of waiting in line outside but it's worth it.
This place has been one of my favourite places in all Montreal. Good food, good service, good staff. You'll be seeing a lot of me :)
By far the best Korean restaurant in Montreal! Fantastic food and amazing customer service. Well worth the wait!
Wonderful Korean fare for a student-friendly price. At the time of writing, the restaurant has been robbed twice in the past week in what are likely racially motivated attacks. Please support this great spot and help them recoup their losses from these senseless incidents.
To be honest, if you like Asian food then it is definitely a place to visit. The food is great and affordable. The portions are generous and the presentation is good. I would have rate it 5 stars if it had a larger dinning room and maybe update their menu with pictures because not everyone is familiar with Korean dishes. Otherwise I really love the place.
Simply my favorite restaurant in the city. The single best price-quality-quantity ratio. Beware of the long waiting line !
It was good service and the food came quickly. The bimibap was good and quite heavy, but was worth it.
Very good. Fast service. Prime location. If you like spicy food, you will love it . Every single dish amazing !!! Cheap prices. There will be a lineup at all times !!!! Verdict : defineatly give it a try.
This spot is the one I like best. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The stuff is very welcoming and the cuisine they serve is so flavorful. I never decline to have a good meal in this place. I highly recommend this place.
The wait can be a little overwhelming, but it is SO worth it. best Korean food I've tasted in Canada. If you don't have time to wait, you can call them and then pick up your order (and eat it at home or outside haha). Small restaurant but the food is amazing and the staff are very polite and welcoming. Would recommend 1000%
The food was incredible. I think you'll be satisfied no matter what you choose! Be ware that Korean food can be spicy. Such an amazing place!
We came early because the restaurant is small and they don't take reservations. The service is fast and turnover is pretty quick as well. Food is absolutely delicious, we had a bowl of white rice to slurp up all of the sauces at the end of meal. Affordable prices. Highly recommend a visit.
Always a long wait whenever I passed by so I was not able to dine in. Instead? I ordered out and the food was phenomenal! Hopefully my next time in Montreal, I can come for the full experience!
Excellent Korean restaurant. We all enjoyed our bulgogis (beef and tofu). The fried chicken was crispy and well seasoned, not greasy. The appetizers (crispy dumplings) were delicious. The service was quick, attentive and accommodating. We were fortunate to get a table. The line up behind us was very long but it moved fairly quickly. This might be our new favorite Korean restaurant.
Really nice food and Staff. I had the Shrimp Bibimbap in the hot stone and it was delicious and fresh. Vegetables were crunchy and the mushrooms were delicious. I highly recommend this place. Especially if you’re not afraid to wait outside as they do not take reservations.
Love love love Ganadara! I always share a bowl of their fried chicken pieces with my friend and we each get a ramen. Portions are big, and prices are very decent. The only thing is that it's a small place and there is very often a long line up to get in, no reservations possible. I suggest going as soon as they open or when you're prepared to wait (I've waited 30-60 minutes to get in). Worth it, though, it's one of my favourite places to eat.
Great good, friendly staff. Was easy to adapt the vegetarian menu items to be vegan. The vegetable Mandu comes with a mayo sauce on top, so if you cannot have eggs make sure to order without the Mayo sauce
Worth the wait to get in ! Great spot for lunch near Concordia and one of the best bang for your buck restaurants in the area.
Good food. Good service. However the waiting line could go up to 1hour depending on what time you’re going. Price is pretty cheap. Would def recommend.
The fact they always have a line up outside their restaurant says it all. Try their spicy pork bowl (can’t remember the exact name), but it is one of their most popular ones. It comes with rice and some vegetables if I can remember accurately. This is the type of food you can crave at any moment once you’ve tried it the first time ...
tasty food, lucky to be able to sit down though
Lines are extremely long but they do move relatively quickly. If you're trying to find a good place where you don't feel rushed to eat, this is not your place. You literally come here to eat and go but the food is definitely worthwhile. We had the sushi/fried tofu as apps which were very good. Then for our main course we had the hot bowl of Bibimbop.
